I am working my way through a radical idea: that to make progress I need to focus on an attitude rather than a complex plan.
So it goes like this: to set my business up for sustainable success I need to do three things:
- cultivate a gratitude practice
- be present (to be in the past is to invite depression, to be in the future is to invite anxiety and panic)
- be open to making connections, and in fact, to actively cultivate connecting with people (not with the idea of getting something from them, but simply to be open, to build the relationship)
The last point is something I said when I did my marketing review earlier in the year. And forgot about, for a bit.
So the idea is to work on these feelings and on the idea of abundance and then to make my plans and implement them in that spirit.
