On time and how to be on time

I was late for something today – which hasn’t happened to me in a long time. I got ┬áhot and flustered and cross, and for a while wanted to shout at the people who organised the training session, for their poor directions.

But actually, as calm returned, I realised it was all my fault. I allowed guilt about leaving colleagues to delay me at work, and didn’t allow myself “time for getting lost”. ┬áThe feeling as calm returned was good, as that’s how things usually are for me (more or less) – but lesson learned. Time for getting lost is important.
